Cycle 14 Episode 1 of America's Next Top Model 'Be My Friend, Tyra!' aired Wednesday on the CW Network at 8pm PST.

ANTM is back for another cycle with 13 more girls vying to be America's Next Top Model.

If you want to catch up on any ANTM news, see our channel.

With a new panel judge, AndrĂ© Leon Talley, and just as much cattiness and drama as before, it's sure to be an exciting season.

We will be doing a full review of the show, Be My Friend, Tyra! as it airs so come back later to catch up on all your ANTM news from the premiere of Cycle 14.

The episode begins:

Tyra Banks reflects on the past seasons of ANTM and other Top Model shows going on in different countries and we start to realize that nothing has really changed in the past 13 seasons, so are we even getting anything new and exciting? We'll have to stay tuned to find out.

The girls arrive in LA (there's still 32 of them at this point) and there is lots and lots of screaming and cattiness already (this is great).

The girls see Tyra's MyFierce page (seriously) and Tyra appears on the screen with Miss J and Jay and they banter (boring) and then Tyra walks in to the room and Alasia literally falls down on the floor in delight.

Miss Jay and Jay walk out and Alasia is still screaming and crying (she's going to be annoying I can tell).

The girls are told they have to build a MyFierce Page and then work on their 'netwalk' with Miss Jay (yes actually netwalk).

Jay takes the photos of the girls for their profile page.

Angelea we find out was on Cycle 12 and had major attitude and got kicked off in the semi-finals. Jay is glad she is back.

Naduah is already a model and looks like it (she doesn't even need to be here!)

The girls then have to go see Miss Jay to work on their netwalking. I like Alexandra already, she calls herself plus-size but she is pretty cool.

Hallie is really annoying and a spoiled brat - I already don't like her.

Gabrielle says that all girls have different personalities (yeah, no duh)

The girls are already talking smack about Angelea - this is great.

The girls now have to go through the judging panel and Angelea is first. She is so thankful to be there and blames her bad attitude on Cycle 12 on 'this guy' and she says she is back and ready, with shorter nails no less. She says she knows her stuff, but admits she is still ghetto.

Hallie is next and Tyra is impressed with her fashion. Cybill Shepherd is her godmother but Hallie is way too spoiled for me.

Simone is next and she is sweet but her voice is kind of annoying. She wants to be either a top model or Hillary Clinton (that's quite a difference). Miss Jay makes fun of her voice, but Jay loves her.

I love the way Jessica speaks! She is only 18 but when she was 16, she had sex for the first time and got pregnant. She got married at 16 and had a baby, but I felt bad for her because she said her church won't accept her due to what happened with her getting pregnant and getting married so young.

Raina is cute but has crazy intense eyebrows! I can't stop staring at them.

Brenda is wearing a super cute blue dress and she tells us all about finding her convicted felon dad. Brenda also got pregnant the first time she had sex at 18! WTF? This is some kind of weird trend.

Alasia grew up in the hood (apparently) and is wearing some crazy chain outfit, but she says she has been saved by Christ, however she can't remember the Bible verse she is trying to quote.

Krista makes fun of Alasia saying one moment she's crazy and one moment she's normal - 'it's like a switch'. You can totally see what she is talking about.

Krista is up next for judging and she is determined to not be seen as too old as she is already 24. She does reveal however that she doesn't want to date white guys as pink gums make her think of raw meat (it was gums wasn't it?)

Amy, despite sharing a name with me has an annoying voice, but she sounds way better when she's not in front of the judges. Tyra of course has to sing with her (torture).

Tatianna is a volunteer mortician (gross) and describes the process of preparing a body for burial. However, the story about her brother was touching, but Jay is not impressed with her notion of 'wanting to check out modeling). No kidding, she could be taking someone's spot who really wants to be there!

Jeanna has developed a planet called Glamazonia (um, ok weird, move on).

Backstage, Alasia is hitting on Naduah, but we do find out that Naduah was raised in a religious cult, which is so interesting!

Naduah is up next for judging and she gives Tyra a drawing of her, which is really good. She talks more about growing up in the religious cult and it sounds really awful. I like her a lot.

Nida is cute but has a weird bikini modeling pose.

Backstage Brenda is categorizing the contestants that will get through 'two Blacks, two Latinos etc' which seems weird to me.

Gabrielle starts to cry almost right away due to her lack of a 'stable black father figure', and she's mad about the way people have treated her due to her race.

Alexandra is up next and she has a lot of personality! She says her 'fanny is large and in charge'. She calls herself plus size but she looks totally normal to me, that's depressing.

Anslee is also a mom who is recently married and has an interesting camera personality.

Danielle is the one with all the piercings, but as Tyra says, she's really pretty beyond that.

Hallie is still running her mouth about how much she deserves to be there and how classy she is. Generally if you have to tell people you're classy, then you're not.

The girls come back in to see who is going to make it to the next level and who is going to be eliminated. They have to see if they have been accepted to be Tyra's friend in order to move on.

There is a lot of freaking out. Nida is upset but she still manages to smile, which is nice. Danielle didn't make it either and she's really upset and gets down on the floor and cries.

The girls that got through have to go through one more round to see if they will live in the house for the season. Their challenge is to make themselves look like a supermodel and Miss Jay has to be able to tell which one (that's hard).

Tatianna is trying to be Megan Fox (um, not a supermodel!)

Alexandra has painted a giant mole on her face to be Cindy Crawford. It's a little obvious.

Tyra says there are 14 spots available - but we only have 13 registered, so not sure what is going on there. Tyra, Miss Jay and Jay discuss the possibilities for each girl. They are going to eliminate 6 more girls now.

Now Tyra reveals that although they have 14 spots available, the three could only agree on 12.

They are:

Naduah

Jessica

Simone

Raina

Tatianna

Alexandra

Krista

Brenda

Alasia

Anslee

Gabrielle

Angelea

Tyra says goodbye to the girls that didn't make it. Hallie says that if there was 13 girls she would have been the thirteenth.

There is going to be a new girl in New York City who is going to be number 13! (we already know it's going to be Ren however).

The girls arrive in NYC and it s fabulous of course. They are on the streets of New York and they see a waxwork of Johnny Depp outside Madame Tussauds with Perez Hilton taking pictures of them all. The waxwork looks pretty good of Johnny actually.

The contestants get a tour of Madame Tussauds and of course Tyra is there wearing some fabulous shoes.

Ren comes out as the number 13 girl. She describes herself as a 'free spirit that can't be caged'.

The girls find out they are going to get a makeover! I love this part of the show, although it's not normally so early in the season is it?

They go to Sally Hershberger's salon to get their makeovers and you can feel the excitement building.

Gabrielle has the right attitude towards the makeovers, Anslee does not.

Ren gets a cool short cut that is really edgy and modern. But she also has to get her armpits shaved (kind of gross, not gonna lie).

Gabrielle gets a bleached out, blond look; it's cute.

Krista's hair is long and sleek and put in a pony tail. She's not thrilled at all with her hair.

Alexandra gets some highlights and long gorgeous hair.

Simone's hair ends up being shaved and spiky on top - I like it, it's so not boring.

Brenda gets her hair cut really really short, I like it but she cries and she hates it. Angelea of course makes fun of her for it. Her hair is really a huge change though.

Naduah is getting an eyebrow makeover as she has no hair. She looks so cool though.

Angelea is getting a weave - it's full and long and Tyra-esque.

Raina gets chocolate hair - it's such a change, you don't even recognize her!

Alasia just gets some clip-ins for her natural hair.

Anslee cries because her hair gets really short and she says it's like leaving a part of her life behind. Her new hair looks great though, I love it!

Tatianna gets long blonde hair and it looks a bit weird to me.

Jessica gets fierce chocolate brown long hair; I love it.

After the makeovers the girls get to move in to their New York loft, which is amazing and I'm so jealous. They even get cute bunk beds to sleep in with huge walk-in closets; I'm even more in love with the apartment than anything else.

Angelea is already pulling attitude however about how much closet space she has. Anslee and Angelea start to argue so I hope those two stay around for a bit to keep the drama up!

The girls already seem to hate Angelea as she's so negative (I agree but I want her to stay around). Angelea has what she calls a 'bitch please' look and I have to admit, it's quite scary. Ren has the best attitude about it when she calls the arguing 'unnecessary'.

More arguing ensues between Krista, Alasia and Angelea but I'm not sure what they are arguing about. Any ideas?

Jessica, the 18-year-old, seems to be the most mature of the bunch at this point. Alasia says that Krista is lucky they she is not on the street because she 'would beat her ass'. Hmmm.

The episode ends when the girls find out they have to have a nude photo shoot (well, only wearing one item of clothing).

Looking forward to next week already!

Come back every week!

I am already in love with this cycle...! I love Krista she has such a different look as well as Raina (those eyebrows!). I believe the prettiest girl this cycle would have to be the gorgeous plus size model Alexandra...she is stunning. I also get the feeling the drama will be high this cycle (so excited) lol P.S. Tyra looks absolutely amazing.!

The end was when Jay announced that the girls got to pick one item of clothing off the mannequin and then they will have to do a photo shoot wearing that one item and nothing else. The girls all look shocked and then the episode ends and the photo shoot will be shown in next week's episode. I thought it ended a bit suddenly as well, and usually the first episode is 2 hours but this one was only 90 minutes.

Yesterday's episode was only 62 minutes, so I think it was probably cut off, unless there were 28 minutes of commercials... I watch online so I don't know.

Yeah, 62 minutes without commercials - 90 with commercials - crazy there are so many commercials!
