Editor-At-Large for American Vogue, André Leon Talley Replaces Miss J on ANTM Judging Panel

There's a new judge on the ANTM panel this Cycle 14, and he is no stranger to the world of high fashion and fashion models. André Leon Talley has been Vogue's Editor-At-Large, just under Anna Wintour for many years now, and has been in the fashion industry for over 25 years.

Now he is taking on a different role, replacing Miss J on the ANTM judging panel with Tyra Banks and Nigel Barker (for ANTM fans, don't worry, Miss J is still on the show as the runway coach).

Talley even brings a new catchphrase to the show with the word 'dreckitude'.

When asked about joining the cast of ANTM, André Leon Talley said that even Anna Wintour was fine with it, even though neither of them had watched the show before. He told NY Mag:

“André is always onto new things on television, and I think his latest adventure sounds like a lot of fun and I look forward to watching him on the program.”

Cycle 14 has already been filmed, but Talley was not revealing anything about the winner, but said she was a 'Vogue quality' model.

Tyra Banks had tried to get Talley to join America's Next Top Model before Cycle 1 even began, and although she met with him a few times, he did not agree to do the show saying he felt insecure about the concept of reality TV.

However, now he does feel confident enough and he's ready to take on the challenge of producing America's Next Top Model. You can follow André Leon Talley on Twitter for updates as well.
