French fashion label APC is teaming up with Nike to design a capsule collection of tennis shoes, which will be in stores Spring 2009

"We had a longing to make an elegant and simple sports shoe," explains APC's founder and designer Jean Touitou of the white canvas styles, which are based on Nike's All Court model from 1975.

The second time the brand has collaborated with Nike - the two brands last worked together four years ago - the shoes will be available with three swoosh colours - red, white or blue and be stocked in APC stores, WWD reports.

The small, 3-shoe collection will be made of canvas uppers (based on the Nike All Court shoe) and keeping to a very simple design.  The APC label will appear on the tongue.
