Giorgio Armani showed his fall/winter 2009-2010 collection at Milan yesterday and has brought back the man-tailored pant suit, known as the 'power suit', which Armani says is a must for outlasting the recession and will help women move onward and upward in their careers.

Armani also uses elasticized velvet and silk fabric for his myriad little black dresses - very simple and very wearable - which he predicts will "sell like hot cakes."

For evening Armani offers demure debutante gowns with a long embroidered skirt and a delicate mesh bodice. While most outfits are worn with high-heeled platform shoes, flat silk embroidered boots accompany the evening wear.

It may make one feel good if they can afford it, however I do have my doubts that will help.
