Hats off to Ty Barnes, owner of Springfield, Missouri's Blow Hair Salon. Blow has one of the most epic local commercials ever. Ty Barnes is seen styling a man and a women, who then start making out... in front of Barnes.

While the newly-groomed couple is making out, Ty Barnes is staring at you. Yes, you. I was waiting for him to say, "Kneel before Zod", but he doesn't.

This ad is all Barnes, with no help from Rhett and Link.

When I saw the ad for Blow Hair Salon, I found myself thinking that someone took:

• Stone Cold Steve Austin
• Derek Zoolander
• Adriana from The Sopranos

... and took them all to a German Sparkle Party*. Ty Barnes isn't just trying to take over the hair-salon industry: he's clearly taking a swing at Blendr, too. Can any force on Earth stop him?
