Burt's Bees give away 1000 lip balm a day to mark 25 years

Burt's Bees is giving away 1000 lip balms everyday until June 20th to mark 25 years of buisness in the natural care products business.

However it seems that the start of this campaign is a little bit slower than expected. The event should have started at 9 a.m. but instead at 10:20 a.m. the official site said the giveaway has not started yet.

Burt's Bees was started in 1984 in Maine, when Burt Shavitz and Roxanne Quimby started selling beeswax candles at a local fair, and by 1989 had grown their business to hire 40 employees. In 1991 they expanded their products to include soaps and perfumes and lip balm, which is still their best sellling product.

I totally love and trust their products. I don't think I could live without their peppermint lip balm or foot lotion, but I've never thought to visit their website before. Lots of new goodies!

So apparently if you want the free lip balm you have to be really quick, and log on right after 9am EDT and no later than 12pm EDT or else you will miss out - just a tip.
