Stylist to the stars Andrea Lieberman is launching her very own fashion collection.  The New Yorker has had a busy year, having just given birth to her first child a few months ago and now creating a fashion collection to call her own.  Quite rightly, A.L.C. stands for the Andrea Lieberman Collection, and the line will be available early 2009.

After a decade spent finessing the looks of everyone from P. Diddy to Gwyneth Paltrow, the style super-spy is coming out of the shadows with the debut of a contemporary line called A.L.C. For Lieberman, it’s a return to her roots. The Parsons grad began her career in design at Giorgio di Sant’ Angelo. More recently, she worked with client Gwen Stefani on the launch of L.A.M.B. and created her own range of jewelry for Mouawad.

Lieberman was inspired to make a stylish line that would travel well - the types of items that you wouldn't jet-set without because they are so versatile, suitable for many locations and occasions.

Lieberman, who also designs a jewelry collection for Mouawad, included such looks as a T-shirt dress draped like a traditional Indian sari, a floor-length T-shirt dress with leather piping and a neckline adorned with beads and leather paillettes, a short cotton dress with wide macrame halters, a georgette army parka and tailored, slim pants."

Her price point is reasonable as well (considering her projected clientele), with most pieces wholesaling between $150 and $395.
