Chef Gordon Ramsay May Open Restaurant in Toronto

Gordon Ramsay is a British celebrity chef (but don't say that to his face - he hates that title) who is well known for his irate behaviour, foul language and celebrated culinary skills. While traveling through Canada to promote his latest book, "Gordon Ramsay's Fast Food," Ramsay reportedly eyed two potential locations for a new restaurant in Toronto.

During a promotional stop to Toronto in April, Ramsay admitted he is "heavily considering" marking his culinary stamp on Canada's largest city, "especially if it's the right place."

This week, his publicist told CTV that Ramsay is looking at two sites in Toronto, but will not commit until he finds one that is a perfect fit.

Ramsay has several restaurants in major cities around the world, including Los Angeles, Tokyo, New Yor, Dubai and Paris. He called Toronto a "vibrant city" with amazing architecture, though hinted that the restaurant would not set up shop within a hotel.

Ramsay is certainly busy; he continues to expand his roster of restaurants, has a new book out which he is touring with, and a third television show, aptly named "The F Word," will compiment his other two popular TV programs, "Hell's Kitchen" and "Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares." He is 41 and married with 4 children, and has earned 9 Michelin stars - sparingly awarded by the Michelin Red Guide to restaurants of outstanding quality.

I will be coming when it opens and I really hope he does find something he likes in Toronto. I wouldn't mind applying for a kitchen job when it comes to work with the best.
