Is Costco Open on Labor Day 2011? Can You Get Some Shopping Done on September 5, 2011?

Unfortunately for those wanting to get some shopping done at Costco on September 5, 2011, all Costco locations are in fact closed on Labor Day 2011. 

Costco does not close that many days each year, but they are closed on Labor Day, along with Independence Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. They will return to regular store hours however the next day meaning:

• Monday to Friday 10am to 8:30pm
• Saturday 9:30am to 6pm
• Sunday 10am to 6pm

However, Costco is one of the only big chain stores that is closed on Labor Day 2011, meaning that there are plenty of other stores for people to get their shopping done on their day off.
