Making their Royal rounds in North America, Prince William and Kate Middleton will pay a visit to California on July 8th.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are planning out the Canadian leg of their tour and are tacking on a trio of days in the Golden State.

Upon arriving in the U.S., Omg! reports that William and Kate will first head to a UKTI reception at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, followed by another reception and meet-and-greet at Consul General's residence in Los Angeles.

On Saturday, the pair will head north to Santa Barbara, where Wills will play polo at the Santa Barbara Polo Club. The match will benefit the American Friends of The Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry.

That evening, the couple heads back to L.A. for a British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) black-tie dinner and reception at the Belasco theatre.

On Sunday, they are scheduled to visit the Inner-City Arts School in downtown Los Angeles, followed by an appearance at the Service Nation: Mission Serve at Sony Studios in Culver City. There William and Kate will meet with U.S. military families, service members and veterans who are working to transition back into civilian life. (omg! news)

Before the American leg of their tour begins, however, the Duke and Duchess must fulfill their visitation obligations north of the border in Canada.

On July 1st, which happens to be the country's holiday, William and Kate will be on Ottawa's Parliament Hill for the official kick-off at 12:07 PM.

According to the Ottawa Citizen, a Royal Canadian Mountain Police will escort the couple as they are greeted by Prime Minister Stephen Harper and his family - wife Laureen and their children Ben and Rachel - as well as Canadian Heritage Minister James Moore.

In addition to a 21-gun salute, a CF-18 fighter-jet flyover and renditions of "O Canada" and "God Save the Queen," the hour-long ceremony will include performances by Sam Roberts, Great Big Sea and Maria Aragon, a 10-year-old from Winnipeg who earlier this year performed a duet with Lady Gaga in Toronto.

Out for yet another high-profile public appearance, Prince William and Catherine attended the Order of the Garter Service at St George's Chapel in Windsor, England on Monday (June 13).

Looking elegant in a silver suit with a matching fascinator, Miss Middleton stood alongside the Duchess of Cornwall as the ladies watched on while Prince William and Prince Philip partook in the royal ceremony held at Windsor Castle.

During the festivities, Lord Phillips of Worth Matravers and Admiral Lord Boyce were invested in the castle's Garter Throne Room before being "installed" at the service.

For those unfamiliar with the UK happenings, the Order of the Garter is the senior and oldest British Order of Chivalry, founded by Edward III in 1348. Membership in the order is limited to the sovereign, the Prince of Wales, and no more than twenty-four members.
