Black Friday literally turned New York into an urban jungle, er, forest rather. As a part of a decidedly bizarre marketing scheme, Diesel staged a fake protest claiming the brand is "unfair to bears." Protesters weilded picket signs and custom-printed banners bashing Diesel for their, to my knowledge, unfounded unfairness to bears; the clothier even enlisted people to don polar, black, and brown bear costumes.
The 'protest' was a ploy to garner attention on Black Friday, the biggest shopping day of the year, but no one quite understands why the brand chose bears Who knows, maybe it was just because bear rhymes with unfair?

Nonsense! When I first heard about this protest I didn't believe it (accidentaly found on torrents.rapid4me.com - torrents file). To my mind they just wasted their time and achieved no results. It would be much better , for example, to spend this time with homeless children who could be more thankful than bears.
