Downtown Baltimore Business Gets "Rally O's Wednesdays" Fever
May 22, 2013- (Baltimore, Md.) The Fresh & Greens food market in the heart of Downtown Baltimore has become the first business in the city to help promote "Rally O's Wednesdays."
Employees will wear "Rally O's Wednesdays" t-shirts along with other Oriole team merchandise every Wednesday during the remainder of the season to show support of the baseball club.
Derrick E. Vaughan of Dunkadelic Sports Marketing approached employees with the idea and they were eager to participate.
Vaughan says, "The Fresh & Greens staff are making history today. They will be able to look back years from and say we helped start that trend. It will be even more special if the O's can get on a rally this season and become World Series Champions."
"Rally O's Wednesdays" is the Orioles version to the Baltimore Ravens "Purple Friday."
"Purple Friday" has become very popular during the football season with fans around the state wearing Ravens merchandise to work and school.
Time will tell if "Rally O's Wednesdays" will be as popular as "Purple Friday."
