ELLE's 19th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration
Bringing together quite the esteemed lineup of Tinseltown talent, the 19th Annual ELLE 'Women in Hollywood' Celebration took place at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills on Monday night (October 15).
Gracing the swanky soiree with their beauty, Cate Blanchett, Sarah Jessica Parker, Nina Dobrev and Uma Thurman were among the lovely ladies honored at the night's event.
Also in attendance were a full lineup of big and small screen sirens, amongst them being Emma Watson, Lea Michele, Anna Kendrick, Julianne Hough, Kristen Wiig, Jennie Garth, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Lake Bell, Krysten Ritter and Elle Fanning.
Joining the night's host Joel McHale as one of the lone fellas at the female-dominated fete was "Twilight" heartthrob Robert Pattinson, who took the stage to present his "Bel Ami" co-star, Miss Thurman, with her ELLE accolade.
Rounding out the who's who guest list were a trio of stars from "The Office" in Jenna Fischer, John Krasinski and Ellie Kemper while the cast of the hit film "The Help" was well represented, also, as Emma Stone, Viola Davis and ELLE "Women In Film" cover girl Octavia Spencer all made appearances.
Inside the magazine's annual toast to Tinseltown actresses, Miss Spencer spoke about trials she faced while trying to break into the world of cinema, saying, "Early on I had to stand up to a producer - I won't say who, but he is famous, famous."
"He dressed me down in a crowded office. I told him right there in front of a hundred people, 'You don't know me well enough to use that tone'… And then I ran to the bathroom and cried like a baby," Octavia said with a smile, adding, "But he never addressed me that way again. And he is known as a yeller."
