Candid shot of Miss Emily after school today. This is what the girl looks like with ironed, tamed down hair. Ronni said that she was not meant to have hair that is not unruly, and she doesn't like it, but I think she looks lovely. When I was her age, I ironed my hair too. When hairstyles change again in a few years, hers will be all the rage again.

I just noticed in this photo that Emily favors her grandfather, who was part Cherokee. She has his lips, and the high cheek bones. Funny that I have never noticed that before now.
