Fendi Limited Edition Anniversary Baguette -- photo 1

This is a shot of Fendi's Limited Edition 10th Anniversary Beaded Baguette bag.

The bag came out last year to celebrate the tenth year of production for the celebrated baguette bag featured throughout Sex and the City. There were only 40 of them made in the world, and this is number 11 of 40.

I thought it would be a great idea to pick up one of these and donate it to a charity auction, so I did. I purchased the bag from Net-A-Porter and donated it to the Alzheimer's Women's Association chapter here in Dallas for use as a fundraising item in their annual charity auction.

The event/fundraising auction was held at the end of March, with Laura Bush as honorary chair. The luncheon organizers were very excited to receive the bag, and said all the women at the luncheon went nuts over it. I don't know how much it ended up raising for the association, but I trust it fetched a decent price for a worthy cause.
