Fillippa Hamilton has been modeling for Ralph Lauren since 2002, but she now claims that she was fired earlier this year for being too fat - she is 5ft 10 and weighs 120lbs.

"They fired me because they said I was overweight and I couldn't fit in their clothes anymore."

Then a photo of her in a print ad for Ralph Lauren appeared in Japan and on the internet and she had been severly photoshopped.

Ralph Lauren tried to stop anyone from posting the ad after much criticism broke out but they have finally released a statement on the matter:

"For over 42 years we have built a brand based on quality and integrity. After further investigation, we have learned that we are responsible for the poor imaging and retouching that resulted in a very distorted image of a woman's body. We have addressed the problem and going forward will take every precaution to ensure that the caliber of our artwork represents our brand appropriately."

Filippa Hamilton appeared on the Today Show this morning saying she hasn't even gained any weight since being fired and that she was proud of the way she looked. Cosmo Magazine has offered her an eight page spread in their magazine.
