Party at Stonehenge to Celebrate Summer Solstice

June 21 marks the 2011 Summer Solstice, and over 18,000 Druids, Pagans and partiers gathered at Stonehenge to watch the sun rise. While the sunrise was obscured by clouds, at least it didn't rain. Summer Solstice is the only time when people are allowed to touch the giant monoliths of Stonehenge.

Videos from the Stonehenge Summer Solstice celebration are starting to hit the web, so those of us who don't live near ancient and mysterious stone circles can enjoy the sunrise vicariously.

While the all-night, all-morning party was mostly peaceful, there were 20 arrests and 50 drug seizures at Stonehenge.
