Several people have been taken to hospital after attending the America's Next Top Model auditions in Manhattan.
Two people have been taken to hospital and four others have refused treatment after the incident. The injuries were as a result of being trampled.
Police were called in after thousands of girls, some of them who had been waiting since 11pm Friday night, rushed the hotel and cut in line in front of others.
This season's auditions were open to shorter women for the first time, with girls 5'7'' and under getting their shot at fashion fame on the show, which features Tyra Banks as model mentor and host.

Yes Esta a stampede of vanity and ambition, there are some people out there who would, ! !forgive the pun, break a leg litterally just to be famous. The Fashion industry is rife with envy and backstabbing.

Seems they needed crowd control and did not have it on hand. Still people need to take responsibility for their actions. The whole crowd mentality excuse should be abolished and though it is difficult to find the culprit who initiated and those who followed in the stampede they need to do the investigation.

This is absurd. I wonder if they'll include the mayhem in the next cycle of this show's "reality"?

This was ridiculous.. I blame the producers and the 'organizers', (i use this word loosely b/c there definitely was NO ORDER) for this. I was there. There was no type of organization at this event. No one seemed to know where the lie started or ended. No one to direct traffic. Every time the line would move it was a BUM RUSH b/c ppl were cutting and not caring and no one there to tell them otherwise. It was TERRIBLE. I'm appauled and disgusted how you can have so many seasons of a show and have not ONE person out there trying to take care of things or provide order. It was DISGUSTING for real!
