Glee Returns: Madonna, Lady GaGa, Beatles, Aguilera, ACDC Tribute
Fox's hit musical comedy Glee is returning to screens tonight (9:28pm ET), with new guest stars, cast members and songs, including a tribute to Lady Gaga, and a full episode of Madonna tracks.
The cast was at the White House last Monday, at an appearance on Oprah and featured on the most recent cover of Rolling Stone. Glee also has a number of live shows planned for May.

Although the show has been off of the air for four months, it is still being considered in its debut season, with nine episodes remaining.
Viewers can also expect covers of:

- the Beatles,
- Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch,

- Olivia Newton-John
Ryan Murphy, the show's executive producer, says the show will continue with a 5-song minimum per episode. Creators say the songs are chosen for the story line, rather than the other way around.
3 New Glee Roles to be Cast
Glee auditions are currently being held for three positions in season two of the show. Kristin Chenoweth, who previously guest starred as April Rhodes, will be returning as a guest star in an episode in late April.
There are a number of guest stars lined up including Neil Patrick Harris, with Jennifer Lopez rumored to stop by this season as well.
Glee's 6 Million Viewers
According to news outlets, about 6 million people tune in to watch Glee each week and they buy music.
After characters on the show sang a rendition of Rihanna’s “Take A Bow,” sales of the single increased by 189 percent.
After the cast covered Journey's hit "Don’t Stop Believin'" the song sold 500,000 copies over iTunes last November.
More than 2 million singles from the show have been purchased on iTunes. Glee and company also put out a soundtrack: Glee: The Music, Volume 1 and 2, available on Amazon.
