After 99 years of serving us on the High Street Woolworths Superstore has fallen victim to the worldwide recession & is closing it's doors before the end of 2008!
This is our Inverness store. I remember when my little boys were wee we always went into Largs Woollies to purchase a small toy nearly every week & Ladybird clothing was always in the wardrobe!
Fond memories will remain with me of this store & it's closure gives a tinge of sadness to many who have passed through it's doors over the years. Certainly one which will go down in the retail history books!
