In March this Indosiar launches new program titled Dancing with the Stars (DWTS). This program plan will be aired every Saturday at 21.00 pm on 12 March 2011)

Dancing with the Stars is the name of several international television series based on the format of the British TV series Strictly Come Dancing, which is distributed by BBC Worldwide – the commercial arm of the BBC. Currently the format has been licensed to 32 countries (at November 2010). Australia was the first country to adapt the BBC show, and versions have also been produced in Albania, Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, China, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, United States and the new comer is INDONESIA. As a result, this contest became the world's most popular television programme among all genres in 2006 and 2007, according to the magazine Television Business International, reaching the Top 10 in 17 countries.

The rules of competiton is Dancing on the stage :
The program is a dance competition which followed 12 pairs of dancers. Pairs of dancers who compete is a celebrity / public figure paired with a professional dancer. They will compete using the system in the round of eliminations until grand final remaining 3 pairs of dancers.

Dance that competed are of 2 types of Ballroom dance dance and Latin Dance. Consists of Ballroom Dance Waltz, Quickstep, Tango, Slow Foxtrot and Viennese Waltz. As for the Latin Dance Chacha, Rhumba, Jive, Paso Doble and Samba. The program will last until round grandfinal 10 (ten) episodes.

In the early rounds, the 12 pairs of dancers will be divided into 2 groups ie group A and group B until each group consisted of 6 pairs of dancers. Group A will compete until the remaining 3 pairs of dancers. Group B will then leave a 3 pairs of dancers compete as well. Furthermore, the 6 pairs of dancers later merged into one group and compete until the remaining 3 pairs of dancers. In episode 10, there are 2 main issues. First choose 2 pairs of 3 pairs of dancers to advance to round grand final. Second, choose the overall winner of the 2 pairs who competed in round grand final. Assessment system in the program are: Assessment of 3 to 4 Judges (one of which is Ralf Lepehne - Champion Latin & Ballroom International Dance from Germany) and 100 people Vote lock jury.

Participants are from 1 pair consisting of a celebrity and a professional dancer. The total is 12 celebrities (6 celebrity celebrity men and 6 women) and 12 professional dancers (6 men and 6 professional professional woman.) Divided into 2 groups namely Group A: 6 celebrity women & 6 professional dancer man (Yuan Christiani (Host & Model), Magdalena (Host, Model & comedian), Cindy Bernedette (R & B Singer & Vocal Director), Wiwid Gunawan (Actrees & Models ), Zivana Letisha (Indonesia Miss Universe '08, Poppy Princess (News Presenter). Group B: 6 celebrity male & 6 female professional dancers (Augie Fantinus (Host & comedian), Fadly Akhmad (Host & Model), Iwa K (Rap Singer), Hengky Kurniawan (Actror & FTV Director), Caesar (Host & Radio Announcer), and Ivan Ray (actor & vocalist)
