Multi-platinum singer Hilary Duff is teaming up with DKNY to co-design the Femme for DKNY Jeans collection, which will be marketed towards young, edgy women. The collection will feature a mish-mash of contradictory elements, seeing feminine details such as flowers and sequins mixed with rocker finishings like leather and studs.
“I took time finding the right fashion house to collaborate with in a design partnership,” she says. “I have always adored and worn DKNY jeans, so it made perfect sense to reach out to them. We hit it off immediately, sharing a design vision offering something special for young women like me.” And what do women like Hilary want? Versatility, for one thing. Duff plans to fill the collection with multi-functional garments, including tunics with removable cowl scarves and skinny jeans with loops that adjust between thin and wide belts.
The price point will vary between $39 and $120, and will be available in stores for Fall 2009.

Well there were quiet a few times that jeans came designed with feminine details; but all off them died off after a short time. The standard normal jeans is what most prefer. All the others come and go.
