"Hitler sex tape": the three words I never thought I'd be typing into a NowPublic story form, and yet here I am, typing "Hitler sex tape" into a NowPublic story form. What a day. Anyway, there isn't a real Hitler sex tape, thank heavens. This is part of the World Aids Day 2009 campaign, entitled Aids is a Mass Murderer.

Their ad campaign is pretty intense: famous despots having sex with young models. German ad agencies are pretty next-level, it turns out, in trying to shock people. There's a video component, too, which popped up on Youtube and has vanished just as quickly. The World AIDS Day 2009 campaign site has the Hitler sex tape video, and it's NSFW, and I personally guarantee that you'll want to take a shower after watching it, because eeew. But here you go: the Hitler sex tape. Perhaps the most effective safe-sex advertisement ever conceived.

This ad campaign was devised by das comitee and Regenbogen e.V.

The poster campaign features Adolph Hitler, Saddam Hussein, and Josef Stalin with modern hotties.

You know what's scarier? The live AIDS death statistics.

Lots of people are calling the campaign "tasteless", and I can see why. What do you think?

Well I am really glad there isn't an 'actual' Hitler sex tape, but the campaign is effective, yet totally over any line I would have thought acceptable for any ad campaign.

However, sometimes shock value might be the only thing that works and it certainly has that!
