Ophiuchus: Pronouncing the 13th Zodiac Sign

Ophiuchus isn't brand-new. The constellation that's now the 13th zodiac sign has been around for a while, but only now are you hearing about it... because apparently you're no longer a Virgo or whatever due to the astrology change. One thing is bothering you about the whole Ophiuchus thing, and it's not just alternate connotations of "serpent holder" (come on, you thought of it first). You're wondering how to pronounce "Ophiuchus".

Say It With Me: Ophiuchus

It's pronounced  /ˌɒfiˈjuːkəs/, or, for those who aren't digging the phonetic alphabet, off-ih-YOU-cuss.

Let's not stop there, though: let's hear the word "Ophiuchus" spoken aloud not just by one robot, but by two different robots. Come on, that's awesome.

In my opinion the zodiac change will not affect people who were born prior to 2011 or even 2010. Just because there is a shift, it will not change your personality. The personality traits fall with the zodiac you were born under. I myself was born a Libra and exhibit those traits, and just because my birthday no longer falls under that sign, my traits will not shift toward the one I'm under now. However, people born from now on will exhibit the traits of the Zodiac signs they will be born under in the new order.

Not true.  They have been dicussing this addtional sign since the 1930's.  So you probably were not actually born under the sign of Libra anyway.  Check it out on wikipedia.
