Ina Garten Snubs Jennifer Garner for Cooking Show Spot

Celebrity recipe designer Ina Garten snubbed Jennifer Garner when the movie star wanted to appear on Ina Garten's show, The Barefoot Contessa. ("The Barefoot Contessa" is the name of the fancy food store that Ina Garted bought in 1978, and became the name of her cookbook and show, which has been on the air for seven years so far)

"I tried to get on Ina's show... but eventually she just said, 'I'm sorry, I only use my real friends on the show.' I felt like, 'What are you saying? That we're not friends? I know everything about you!'"

One hopes this isn't the first stage in a food feud.Ina Garten used to work at the White House in the late seventies before discovering the joys of cooking. Who knows- maybe Jennifer Garner is on the same sort of career-swapping path, only to be derailed by this unfortunate incident.

Ina Garten is a lovely, decent and intelligent human being. I don't find her condescending at all.Jennifer Garner is silly and superficial. Perhaps she should contact Sandra Lee for a guest appearance. They can both match their outfits to the curtains for the day.
