it's hard to fit in.

if you think about it, it's really funny how thrift stores work. some people send their clothes there to get rid of them. some people shop there because they can't afford anywhere else. some people shop there because they really just don't feel like spending money. some people shop there to find preciously rare high-style merchandise. some people shop there to find random trinkets and furniture for no apparent reason. some people, myself included, shop there to find bases for elaborate craft projects that will probably be nothing like the original idea when they are finally completed. we went to try to make a school project, so when that failed miserably we just browsed. it's kind of funny because no one knows where these things have been or who owned them last. it's also strange to go in seeing people that are lucky to have clothes at all and then us with name brands that don't really mean anything at all. vera bradley, the north face, hudson jeans, hollister co, h&m, canon eos rebel xs.
