Does Jay Leno have a passion outside of the Tonight Show? You bet he does, and it's all about pedal to the metal, much like his quick rise to fame. Car enthusiast Leno has a lot to say about cars--and carbon footprints.
Contrary to common knowledge, Jay Leno does have children. Scores of them. And right now, one is sick."Sounds like she's not hitting on the third cylinder," he says with concern as men with thick forearms and grease-stained hands huddle around a diminutive 1965 Honda S600 convertible. "Probably carburetion, not ignition."
So begins another day at Leno's garage, a retreat where Tonight Show concerns vanish in the face of a hobby guided by encyclopedic knowledge and fueled by childhood passion.

Wouldn't you just love to get a chance to play in his garage? Thanks for the read and the flag!

Hum, Well he should have made enough money by now to convert all his Children to environment friendly Hydrogen engines! Then again someone may have to tell him about Hydrogen! Yet he could make a lot of money being as popular as he is by doing that and making advertisements for Honda, BMW, and Mercedes that are building Hydrogen powered Cars all ready and would love to convert the American consumer to embrace it as well! California would be an Ideal place for a Hydrogen Generation plant as well, lots of Sun and Sea Water!

PEP, I like this story. It's good stuff. Jay Leno, best small talk ever "Tonight show", we don't like people like him to retire, they are part of our friends for ever.

Yes, we do become attached to the people who come into our homes on the little box. :) (Or, big box these days). BTW, do you have any links to resources on wind power for homes? I live where the wind comes sweepin' down the plains and I keep thinking I should get some good out of it other than the breeze! Thanks for the read and the flag.
