Avant garde luxury designer, Jean Paul Gaultier, has confirmed that he will be designing a collection for Target to be debuted March 7 and run through April 11, 2010. In accordance with Target's designer collaborations, like Anna Sui's Gossip Girl-inspired collection and Alexander McQueen's line influenced by the style of The Duke Spirit singer Liela Moss, Gaultier chose to design his upcoming collection based on the American woman. A little ambiguous but as the retailer put it, "Jean Paul Gaultier for Target pays tribute to the American woman, celebrating the forces of style both past and present in American pop culture."

The collection will be sold in 250 stores throughout the United States as well as online at Target.com.
