Jetstar Pacific to increase flights throughout Vietnam during Tet

Low-cost air carrier Jetstar Pacific will add extra flights on its route between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City during the Tet Holiday (Lunar New Year) to help cope with increased demand and traffic, the company announced today.

According to the announcement, from January 8th, 2009, Jetstar Pacific will add an extra 3 flights a day from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, increasing the total number flights between the two cities to 10 flights a day.

The extra flights, which will run from the early morning to the late evening, will enable the company to meet passenger demand during the Tet Holiday, when Vietnamese people go home for family reunions and to celebrate the Lunar New Year.
