Jewellry Designers Included in Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week

It was announced earlier this week that jewellry designers will now join the the infamous Paris Haute Couture fashion week. Known for its outrageous, avant garde fashions, Paris' Haute Couture fashion week has included the likes of Chanel, Givenchy, and Jean Paul Gaultier but will now add such names as Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Boucheron, and Chaumet to its roster.

The Fédération de la Couture Française said, "this union of two exceptional 'savoir-faire' will create a real luxury week," following the announcement on November 23. Jewellry designers will be presenting their collections by appointment throughout fashion week which runs January 24 - 28, with the final day, the 28th, being dedicated to jewellry.
