Kanye West Holds Up NY Fashion Week

Perhaps celebrities attending the Spring collections this week should be given an etiquette handbook. Rule number one: do not show up 57 minutes late for a show. As fuming editors waited in their seats at the Thakoon show held at Eye Beam space in far West Chelsea, rumors circulated as to why the start time had been pushed back to unreasonable proportions. Though tardy models were blamed, the real reason for the hold-up was Kanye West. When the rap artist finally arrived, he waltzed in nonchalantly and took his seat mere moments before the lights went down. (Rumor has it he had a 1 pm appointment, so why he thought he could squeeze in a 1 pm runway show is baffling.)
