Lady Gaga Does The Diva Routine At Met Gala: Or was it stage fright?

Laday Gaga has balls - figuratively anyways. Picture this, the Costume Institute's Gala at Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York city, Vogue's editor's Anna Wintour's annual event, the co-host Oprah Winfrey. The guest list was a virtual super size A-list including; Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Lopez, Taylor Swift, Diane von Furstenberg, Barry Diller, Sean Combs, Usher, and Jessica Biel, and Bono just to name a few.

Early in the evening Lady Gaga reportedly refused to leave her dressing room and had to be coaxed out to take the stage by non other than Oprah.

"I'll never forget when Anna Wintour called me to play at this event, she called me and said, 'I would like you to play at the Met gala, but I just want to make sure, because I've seen you perform before, that you won't be swearing during the performance,' " Gaga explained. "So Anna, I will do my [bleep]-ing best!"

Most of the crowd seemed to enjoy the performance, except Bono -- who left half-way through.
