Oh, Ryan Lochte: you started out so far ahead, as the US Swim Team's new hotness. Now, though, your image is being chipped away, eroded by the sands of douchebaggery. It ain't pretty.

Ryan Lochte is doing it to himself, though. For example, Lochte posed with his Gold Medal for the 400 IM wearing a custom-made grill. Seriously. Ryan Lochte's grill, designed by Paul Wall, looks like a bedazzled American flag.

We'll even spare you from having to look at the one of Ryan Lochte accessorizing the grill with these horrible shutter shades with his own name on them. We implore Ryan Lochte's teammates to hide the grill for the duration of the 2012 Games. He can have it back when the Olympics are over.

A public service announcement: you know who can get away with wearing grills? Nobody. Ryan Lochte is a hell of a swimmer; however, between the grill and his bedazzled shoes for Speedo, we suspect he may have magpie DNA. Does FINA allow magpie DNA? If it's any consolation, though, Nelly would approve.
