This year's London Fashion Week will be much more accessible and social media friendly. London Fashion Week 2010 is going to be streamed live online. The events will take place from February 19 to 24 with international fashion designers debuting some of their 2010 collections. London Fashion Week is a highly sought after event that up until now has only had limited accessibility to the public. This year, however, the LFW events will be available for all to watch via live stream for the first time.

London Fashion Week has officially become London Fashion Week 2.0, Elle UK reports, with the announcement that all of the shows in the British Fashion Council tent will be streamed live online from February 19 to 24. CEO of the British Fashion Council Caroline Rush called the move "a significant step in developing our digital strategy

Caroline Rush, CEO of the British Fashion Council sees this as an essential step in developing more digital strategy within the fashion industry. London will officially be the first city to offer online viewers an inside look at one of the most prominent fashion weeks. Every show in LFW will be streamed live online this year for the very first time. This is a good step in the right direction, as fashion is very much becoming a digital field. Bloggers are often front and centre at these fashion events and now the runway shows will be visible to the rest of the online fashion community.
