The Maruay Garden Hotel Bangkok is located in the Phaholyothin area about halfway between the old Don Muang International Airport and downtown Bangkok. It's now about a 30-minute drive on the expressway to the new Suvarnabhumi Airport which is located east of the city. Maruay means come and be rich, in Thai.

It's a solid three-star hotel with 315 rooms and the large grounds have quite a bit of lush vegetation, hence its oasis-type of look. It's basically a vacation hotel but it has facilities for events and meetings that make it popular here for weddings, seminars and other types of functions that can make use of its seven meeting rooms and ballroom. The ballroom can hold over 1,000 people and the other meeting and banquet rooms are set up to hold 30-80 people.

The dining facilities at the Maruay Garden consist of the China Rose Chinese restaurant and the Allamanda international restaurant that specializes in buffets. You can also get baked goods and coffee in a corner of the Lobby Lounge which serves drinks. Other amenities include a swimming pool and sauna. The hotel, built in 1992, was just renovated this past year (2008). There is also a business center here and an executive floor.
