Massimo Bottura, the two-star Michelin chef-owner of Osteria la Francescana in Modena, Italy, will be at the Sukhothai Hotel from March 3-6 to present his highly regarded cuisine at the La Scala Italian restaurant in the hotel. Four different set menus are being offered at dinner only ranging from 2,200 baht++ to 7,300 baht++. The latter dinner also includes wines with each course and the dinners range from four to nine courses.

Massimo’s culinary creations are characterized by his modern dishes which combine innovative new versions of classical food. His restaurant is widely regarded as the best restaurant in Modena, Italy, the culinary capital of Emilia-Romagna. Massimo is known as one of Italy’s most innovative and original chefs but remains respectful of the great culinary traditions and ever loyal to the finest ingredients. His special talent for re-inventing time-honored classics with fresh contemporary flair has won him fans among the elite of gourmets, including, of course, the Michelin restaurant guides.

He has worked with such internationally-renowned chefs as Alain Ducasse and Ferran Adria, enabled him to master both age-old and cutting-edge cooking techniques. Under his tutelage, Osteria Francescana has received international critical acclaim, including two of those illustrious Michelin stars.
