McDondalds unveiled the 'Angus Third Pounder' today, their new burger to entice people in to their fast food restaurants.

This is their first addition to their permanent menu in eight years!

The Angus Third Pounder is a six-ounce burger, which you can order in Delux, Bacon & Cheese and Mushroom & Swiss

Today is the first day they are available across the United States, but the burgers have been in testing stages for two years.

These burgers will feature never-before seen McDonalds menu items: rings of red onion, full slices of bacon, sauteed mushrooms, natural swiss cheese and a 'bakery-style' sesame seed bun.

Will it work? Based on early tests in NY and other test markets, yes it will. The cost of the product will be $4 which is not unreasonable at all for a burger. McDonalds is also going the right direction. Going up the price ladder is easier than coming down.

Thank you very much for featuring my video in your links. I work at a McDonald's and I can say from being a burger lover, it will work. People would rather eat this burger than go to a restaurant because the beef is actually good, and the additional new condiments really live it up. People should enjoy these burgers, McDonald's does have something. Just stay away from the Mushroom Swiss, it can be the greasiest because the mushrooms are made on the grill like the burgers, but the grill is cleaned first. With all the grease on the grill at times, it just goes into the holding bin, then soaked up by the mushrooms.

Anyways, thank you for featuring my video.

I would never eat anything produced by MacDonalds - I used to but found it absolutely disgusting. "The beef is good" and "natural swiss cheese" don't make me laugh - the beef and cheese is always processed to Hell. Do yourself a favour and visit a real restaurant.

The McDonalds angus burgers are hands down disgusting! For sure the worst burger that I have ever had in my life! It tasted like it was cooked in salt water. The sodium content of this trash must have been out of the roof! I tried one 5 days ago and the taste is still on my tongue and will not go away! It tasted like biting into a salt patty.

Right on Rich....all I tasted was salt,1700 mg according to their website but I bet the employees

add even more:D

Anyone that would enjoy this burger carved out of a deer salt-lick is crazy.

Without a doubt the worst burger on the planet.

McDonalds should rename it the anus burger which is where they can shove this pos burger.

the angus burger  tastes like crap the texture is like a biger  quarter pounder   cant compete with red robin or fuddruckers  if i were mcdonaalds i would serve omaha steak burgers  that way people get a great burger and dont mind spending a few more dollars   and omaha would probably chip in on advertizing as they sell more burgers  i would   love to try one

I agree, completely disgusting, what a waste of $4.It was soooo salty, and with a weird taste to it. Like an au juis taste gone bad, with a terrible, terrible rotting onion flavor in there, taste just a piece of meat and see for yourself.
