Mrs. West Virginia America Pageant

The 2009 Mrs. West Virginia America Pageant will be held on May 22 & 23, 2009 at Pullman Plaza Hotel in Huntington, West Virginia.  Married women from across the state will compete for the opportunity to represent the Mountain State at the Mrs. America Pageant.  

Current Mrs. West Virginia America, Angela McKeone is an active volunteer and board member with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.  She also is a Key Volunteer for the Marine Corps where she assists families coming onto recruiting duty.  A graduate of Ohio University with a degree in Psycology and holding a Masters Degree in Counseling Psycology, Angela is also a trained volunteer/educator for the National Alliance for Mental Illness in West Virginia.  Married to Marine GySgt Darren McKeone, they have a daughter and live in Scott Depot, WV.

The Mrs. America Pageant is a reality-based prime time television special featuring the most accomplished married women of America.  Each of the 51 contestants - ranging in age from their 20's to 50's - earns the right to participate in the national event by winning her state competition.
