National Hat Day: January 15
Today is National Hat Day. I've never heard of National Hat Day before about twenty minutes ago, but fortunately I happen to be wearing a hat. Hats need to make a comeback, and not just boring ol' baseball caps and purely-functional beanies. Hats with brims. Maybe even with those little feathers.
Was National Hat Day made up by hat shops? If so, that wasn't a bad idea. I'd have more than one, though. Hat Day, that is.
Are you celebrating National Hat Day? If so, show us.

I had no idea such a day existed. I do have a weakness for hats. :)

You're stylin' in that hat, Jordan!
I'm in the market for a fedora.

Thanks! Years of living in cold climates have brought me a fine collection of beanies (I've yet to adopt the term "toque"), but I only have a few pieces of NBH (non-beanie headwear).

Definitely stylin', Jordan!
Thanks for posting.

Yes, Jordan, you are stylin'. Nice look, but ... uh . . . donde esta the national hat day? If it were here in the U S of A, I would have thought my favorite hatter (Village Hat Shop -www.villagehatshop.com/) would have sent me a card or at least a coupon.
I receive no compensation for naming my favorite hatter (Village Hat Shop -www.villagehatshop.com/), and I recommend it to those in the market for a fedora.
This from the owner of more than 50 hats, caps, knitted headgear and helmets.

It looks like an American event, and felt it my patriotic duty to participate, albeit accidentally.

Good on ya, lad!
Obviously, there is an Obama Administration plot to keep this quiet here south of the border.
Have a good weekend all.

I love hats, back in the day socialites used to wear hats and dress nice just to go shopping. Whatever happened to that? I mean you dont have to be rich to wear a hat!
