National Tequila Day: Celebrate Responsibly
Today is National Tequila Day. I'm not 100% sure who comes up with these things, but still, at least it shines a light on a drink that's all too often characterized as toxic and horrible. The Margarita, the most common vehicle for tequila, is not meant to be a frozen alcoholic Slurpee. INdeed, it's ideally served on the rocks in a slated glass, and only has three ingredients:
- Tequila
- Cointreau
- Lime juice
A dash of orange juice is a good addition as well- tastes awesome, and your guests won't be exactly sure what you added to jazz it up.
Tequila can be complex and rather tasty, but must be enjoyed in moderation: those shooters have a tendency to invite their friends.
Celebrate responsibly: don't drink and drive, and don't drink tequila that comes from a reused sports drink bottle labeled with masking tape. I did that so hopefully you won't have to go through that.
I celebrate more than once per year, but still.
By law tequila only needs 51% the fermented sugars to come from blue agave. These are labeled mixto, but avoid them at all costs.

In most occasions Tequila were present. Friday is National Tequila Day, an opportunity to celebrate the agave-based spirit first distilled by Spanish conquistadors nearly 500 years ago near the site of present-day Tequila, Mexico. Today, there are more than 900 registered brands of tequila. Those who choose to indulge, please do so responsibly (stay away from the worm!) and don't do anything you'll need payday loans to repair celebrating National Tequila Day.

This is really a nice post. However, I usually take some steps in orfer to warn my grown up children for the danger of drinking and driving. Youth today are sometimes irresponsible.
