New York Fashion Week Schedule: Who's In, Who's Out?
The schedule of designers for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York has been released, and while we've seen stories of designers dropping out over the past few weeks we now have a comprehensive look at who will be showing, who will be staging private off-site shows, and who has canceled their runway plans altogether.

Wow, great stuff. I am excited for Project Runway finale. I assume it is the American one.

As a NYFW runway photographer, I had the opportunity to gain backstage access to shoot various shows like Duckie Brown's SS 2009 Collection. After getting my shots, I decided to have a little photo shoot of my own during the pre-show preparations with some of Duckie Brown's gorgeous models. We had a fabulous time taking pictures until the runway coach whisked the boys away for rehearsal. =)

The schedule upsets me as there are far more PR shows than in previous seasons and fewer actual designers. However as anyone who covers each season's shows know, the IMG schedule is just a fraction of all the shows going on during the week.

Very true - I've tried to include some of the independent shows, but it's difficult to track them all down. If you have any additional scheduling information, it would be great if you could share in the comments section - or message me privately with information and I will gladly add it to the story and expand the piece.
