AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL BEST WINNER EVER

Cycle 13 Episode 12, the finale of Cycle 13, of America's Next Top Model aired tonight on the CW Network at 8pm PST.

Previously on ANTM, only girls over 5ft 7 were accepted to be a top model, but this cycle Tyra is giving shorter girls a chance by allowing models under 5 ft 7 to take part, and potentially follow in the footsteps of Top Model Kate Moss.

If you want to catch up on any ANTM news, see our channel

Nicole Fox was named the winner of America's Next Top Model cycle 13, making her the first petite model ever to win ANTM.

She was in the final two with Laura from Kentucky, but Laura just didn't have what the judges were looking for when it came down to the finale.

The girls had to take part in their Cover Girl photo shoot and commercial shoot.

Nicole did well on the photos, but not so well on her commercial as she came off really snooty, but Laura did much better on the commercial as she was upbeat and perky. However, Nigel said that Laura's photos were not as deep as they should be.

The girls then have a Seventeen Magazine photo shoot with Gilles Bensimon, which goes really well, followed by a personal visit from Tyra Banks.

The girls discussed their shortcomings with Tyra and about how far they've come. The fact that Laura suffers from dyslexia and Nicole used to be so shy she ate her lunch in the bathroom alone, and I suppose this is the part we realize that the contestants are just normal people and if they can do it, we can do it.

Next, surprise! The girls are walking in a Julia Clancey runway show, with past contestants Erin, Sundai, Brittany, and Jennifer along with Teyona, the winner of Cycle 12. We've never seen Teyona since she won Cycle 12 have we?

The show is really amazing and fun and looks really pretty. They have to brave the elements in the show and the wind one, although looks cool, must have been really difficult to do!

Nicole's walk to me looks really odd, like she's top heavy, but Laura is a bit too slow, so it's hard to say who is better.

When it comes down to judging, I don't think anyone is too surprised that Nicole was announced the winner. Laura is great (and my fav) but Nicole really did produce some amazing work and I suppose just got the edge up on Laura

At the end Tyra thanks Nicole for representing the 'shorties' everywhere... um, what?

i though erin deserved to at least be in the finale, instead of laura, but nicole deserved to win and im glad she did. it was really no surprises that she conquered laura because laura had potential but she was to much of a country girl. (not to be racist, laura was great).

Oh, I definitely rooted for Nicole--ALL THE WAY!!! I've always liked the awkward, dorky girls (like Nicole L and Allison). Yup. Nicole F was my fav from the start. I will get my copy of Seventeen ASAP, (which I've never done before for any of the previous Cycle winners). Nicole is a STAR. You go girl!!!!!!!!!!

Nichole, you mention you were a loner in high school. But because you were different and there is something speacial about you. People are intimitated by that. When I started whatching the first episode of cycle 13... I knew you were going to WIN. When girls would talk about you. I seriously was like shut up and grow up. But you were grown ..and you handled it well. I knew you could do it. Im so happy for you. Your gorgeuos! Work hard and keep up the amazing work/modeling and stay who you are/ dont change. I Hope for the best. Ps. I been that kid in high school. Its lonley... and tuff. but you have strong traits and they showed. good luckDont get me wrong... the other girls were great... and laura she deserves to go some where with it. She will! But nichole had it all.....she stayed strong.

Nicole is not petite, short or diminutive in stature, she is tall and anorexic looking.  The idea that a girl over 5'5" being referred to as "petite" is a down right misrepresentation of reality. Since when has that stopped the fashion and entertainment world in the past...Amazons are illusions and the industry height standards are discriminatory.  They don't represent an accurate depiction of the real women of the world and 70% of all women are 5'5" and under, fit and full figured.  The average height of a woman is 5'3". BellaPetite.com is advocating petite women and is challenging the "industry height standards," imposed by the fashion and beauty industry.  It's time petite women have equal representation, after all we are the majority of the consumer market.
