Noemie Lenoir, a French Supermodel and Marks & Spencer Model is in Hospital After a Suicide Attempt

Noemie Lenoir was found unconscious with a bottle of pills and an empty alcohol bottle beside her and is in hospital tonight in Paris recovering. According to the Daily Mail, Ms. Lenoir was found in the woods in La Celle-Saint-Cloud outside Paris, but it is thought she started taking the pills and alcohol in the home of her ex-boyfriend Claude Makelele where she lives with their five-year-old son Kelyan.

She had called the emergency services on Sunday afternoon saying she felt ill, but then canceled the ambulance. It was then that she was seen staggering in to the woods near her home. She was found by someone walking by with their dog.

She was treated for poisoning in hospital and is now expected to make a full recovery.

Why Would Noemie Lenoir Attempt Suicide?

It is not known exactly why Noemie Lenoir would attempt suicide, but friends have suggested that she may be stressed about her relationship with Swiss millionaire Carl Hirschmann, who is currently involved in a blackmail scandal in Switzerland.

Hirschmann has been accused of being involved in orgies with models that he reportedly gave a 'love potion' to first to make them drunk, then videotaped them in sex acts. He is now accused of blackmailing the models demanding they give him money or he will post them on the Internet.

The accusations have apparently torn Noemie apart and she is spending all of her time going to Switzerland to see him as he cannot leave the country.
