Old Navy is having their famous flip flop sale today; just $1 for a pair of their flip flops, up to five pairs.

During this time of recession, everyone loves a bargin, but Memorial Weekend is also when shops start their major summer shopping spree, and Old Navy has chosen to lure people in with their cheap footwear.

So get to your Old Navy store locator to find out where your nearest store is and take advantage of some new summer footwear.

A strong typhoon hit Manila when I took this. My initial intention was to take a snap of droplets on the glass door, but when I stepped back I saw my flip flops taking stock of the typhoon's wrath instead.

UGH!! This sale was a disaster! They said they would hold my flip flops overnight for the sale but I came back and they said they put them back on the shelf! I went really late, because I knew we had a bag that we had on hold and I wouldnt need to dive through a crowd, so I was hoping that there was some left that I could just buy from the shelf and the only color left was brown, but I don't have a problem with that. Except, the only size was an 8 1/2 and I'm a size 3!!!!! I guess I may grow into them!

There was no 5 pair limit, I went in with my daughter to buy some and people had trolleys full I really think there should have been a limit so everyone could have benefited
