Pajama jeans are shaping up to be the newest fad, and they're as simple as they sound: pants that are comfortable enough to wear to bed, but that look like jeans.
The Pajama jeans are a mixture of cotton and spandex, not dissimilar from yoga pants that have become popular in recent years.
Pajama pants come in five sizes, and each pair goes for $39.95 and can be ordered at the Pajama Jeans site.
"We were noticing that people were wearing their pajamas on airplanes and in grocery stores. But a lot of people have mixed feelings about it because they think it's inappropriate and sloppy. We thought, why don't we develop something that you're comfortable hanging around the house in or even sleeping in, but it looks acceptable when you go out of the house?" says Stacey Buonanno, merchandising manager for the PjamaGram Company.
