Paula Deen revealed her major weight loss in the July 9, 2012 issue of People Magazine. The TV chef showed off her new figure and talked about she managed to lose the weight by thinking differently.
The Paula Deen weight loss was no doubt motivated by the fact that was recently diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. Since then, she has transformed her diet and is now 30 pounds thinner.
How Did Paula Deen Lose the Weight?
She said that her weight loss was about making relatively small adjustments.
She’s moved mashed potatoes and bread off the table and made room for baked fish and Greek salad. She makes fruit smoothies for breakfast and buys sweet pototoes and broccoli.
She's also cut down on fried foods, replacing fried chicken with baked chicken.
She also is cutting back on the carbs.
She explained: 'I'm redoing the way my plate looks. I'm doubling up on salad or vegetables and putting smaller portions of carbs and all that. I try to walk thirty minutes a day.'
