This time PETA is not protesting against a celebrity's fur coat, but a T-shirt!

Jessica Simpson has been blasted by PETA after wearing a T-shirt bearing the slogan 'Real Girls Eat Meat'.

A spokesperson for PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) said: "Jessica Simpson's meaty wardrobe malfunction makes us thankful that no one is looking to her for food advice. Chicken of the sea anyone? The woman who thought that Buffalo 'Wings' came from buffalos would benefit from some good veggie brain food."

However, it has been claimed Jessica wore the T-shirt to poke fun at her boyfriend Tony Romo's ex-girlfriend Carrie Underwood, who has twice been named the World's Sexiest Vegetarian by PETA.

On the other hand, Anthony Kiedis and Leona Lewis join PETA's list of World's Sexiest Vegetarians.

It's a couple of crooners topping PETA's list of World's Sexiest Vegetarians. After a month-long poll and tens of thousands of votes, it's RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS frontman ANTHONY KIEDIS and British babe LEONA LEWIS who have been ranked hottest.

Kiedis says he's been a vegetarian since the '80s and then became a vegan after that was recommended for his new baby. "Soon after I [went vegan], I saw some documentary footage of what happens in the factory farming of cows," he says. "It sealed the deal."

Meanwhile, Leona says she's on a mission. "I am vegetarian so I don't have clothes, shoes, or bags made from leather or suede or any animal products," she says. "I am totally against animal cruelty."
