I was planning on spending most of the day in Newquay today as I had an appointment at the Hospital in the afternoon, but just as I was leaving I received a letter in the post cancelling the appointment! Anyway, since I was ready to go out and needed lunch I first thought I might go to the Lost Gardens of Heligan as I had a years membership of the Friends of Heligan as a present from my sister for Christmas, but as I left I decided there wasn’t really enough time to make it worthwhile so drove into Truro for lunch and a quick look around the shops - apart from Woolworths which was closed.
