Place I call home

A lot of you have probably travelled. Within your continent or further – you may have seen a lot. But which place will you call your home?

Tomorrow, after all holidays, am heading back to UK. My second, or should I say my first home. But after seeing half Europe I got a bit lost which place should I call like that.

I like Europe but don't think that will stay only within continent limits – there's much more to see. But currently am pretty much happy to be here. But while am able to get back to parents house for holidays and living in temporary place in UK I got a bit lost.

It's not a big secret I wanted to get out of Lithuania. There's simply no future for me. And I just don't like this place that much. So now, for more than half a year am living in UK. I never have thought that will find myself living on 'the island' but things happen. And for this moment am pretty much happy over there. But I just can't get myself to call this place as my home. Maybe because it's just a temporary place or something else but I can't. And today, while packing my things, I got this question – where's my home now?

A lot of you maybe are happy to live in the same country you have born but there's also quiet a few people that aren't. Am not talking about those ones who are chasing money – I'm interested in those people who left to find new home.

Know people that have migrated and find their luck but I'm still struggling. Not a secret that I'm in love with Amsterdam and Netherlands as a country in general. Have been living there for couple weeks and am spending couple days in country once in a while. And am loving it. But simply don't know if I would like the place as much as do now if would live in there. I don't forget a chance simply to buy a flat or house somewhere in a nice place within the country and to spend couple weeks there. It would be perfect in this case I think.

I am also considering a chance to spend some time in Spain. To try the lifestyle, know the country and see if my expectations would come true. And am looking forward to this. But this will happen in some time.

I got my sympathy for couple countries but can't see any of them as my home. Now am committed to living in UK for 6 more moths. I don't mind that and maybe would like changing my place for some more time as it's a great chance to improve my English. Or maybe take a chance and try couple months in Spain or head back to my beloved Netherlands. But I got six more months.

For other six month I will have to call England as my home. Even I never thought about doing this. No one thought. But will have to stick with this.
