22 year-old porn star Charlotte Stokely (Britney) posed for a new American Apparel ad, featuring the Unisex Oversized See Thru T-Shirt. This is her second time modeling for American Apparel's advertisement.

American Apparel is known for its provocative advertising campaigns. Dov Charney, CEO of the company, is directly involved in many of the sexually charged advertising campaigns, many of which he shot himself. The company's advertising agenda as well as Dov Charney's personal affairs are under close scrutiny. While American Apparel has made strong commitments for social and environmental responsibilities, the company constantly faces lawsuits, many of which directly related to CEO Dov Charney's personal conduct.

It is no news that sex sells, and the fashion giant's controversial advertisements probably earned more press coverage and buzz than money could ever bought. Porn star or not doesn't seem to matter. Stokely's new ad is in fact consistent with American Apparel's other ads, no more and no less.

Yet another shock marketing? Here I am writing about it and you reading about it. (Depressingly) successful marketing I say.
